Plain-English terms

Website Terms

Last updated: 12 May 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use neurodivergenttech.org ("the site"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What we offer

The site is a free directory of tools for neurodivergent people, plus articles, events and community features. Listings are editorial — appearing on the site isn't an endorsement, partnership or guarantee.

3. Your account

  • You're responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Use a real email address so we can contact you about your account.
  • Don't impersonate anyone else, scrape the site, or try to break things for other users.

4. Content you post

When you submit reviews, comments, tool submissions or other content, you confirm you have the right to post it and grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the site. We can edit or remove content that's inaccurate, off-topic, abusive or breaks the law.

Don't post:

  • Hate speech, harassment, or content that targets disabled people.
  • Spam, affiliate dumps or fake reviews.
  • Anything illegal or that infringes someone else's rights.

5. Third-party tools

Tools listed in the directory are run by other companies. When you click through and use them, their own terms and privacy policies apply. We're not responsible for their pricing, availability, or how they handle your data.

6. No medical advice

Nothing on the site is medical, clinical or therapeutic advice. Tools are suggestions, not treatment. Talk to a qualified professional for anything affecting your health.

7. Our content

Our writing, branding and design belong to us. You're welcome to share links and quote short excerpts with credit, but please don't republish full articles without asking.

8. Liability

The site is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or any tool you find through it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for things the law says we can't limit (such as death or personal injury caused by negligence).

9. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. The date above will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Contact & law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Get in touch at hello@neurodivergenttech.org or via our contact page.
